Commercial Multi-Game Courts
Durable, Safe & Low-Maintenance Solutions for the Rockies & High Plains
Why Work With Court Builders of the Rockies?
At Court Builders of the Rockies, we provide complete turnkey Sports Facility installation solutions. Transform underutilized space into your biggest asset. Whether you manage a municipal park, an apartment complex, a school, or a private club, your indoor and outdoor amenities define your value. But traditional asphalt courts are a maintenance nightmare—cracking, fading, and creating liability issues after just a few winters.
Court Builders of the Rockies provides a better solution. As the region’s ASBA Builder Member, we design high-performance commercial courts engineered to withstand the freeze-thaw cycles of Colorado, Wyoming, and the Midwest. We help you build facilities that attract members, reduce liability, and virtually eliminate annual maintenance costs.

The Technology: Engineered for Longevity
Whether it's indoor or outdoor, Commercial courts face heavy traffic and harsh weather. We use a two-step system to ensure durability:
1. The Foundation: Post-Tension Concrete
Standard asphalt courts in our region inevitably crack due to soil heaving. We specialize in Post-Tension Concrete—a specialized slab reinforced with high-strength steel cables. This creates a "monolithic" base that bridges unstable soils and resists cracking for decades, not just years.
2. The Surface: Suspended Modular Tiles
Directly over the concrete, we install our pro-grade modular surfacing.
-
-
Liability Reduction: The tiles feature Lateral Forgiveness™, a slight side-to-side movement that absorbs impact and reduces the risk of joint injuries and concussions compared to bare concrete.
-
Self-Draining: The open-grid design allows rain and snowmelt to flow through instantly. No more puddles, no more slippery moss buildup, and no more "rain delays."
-
Low Maintenance: Never resurface or repaint again. If a tile is damaged by vandalism, it can be snapped out and replaced in minutes for a few dollars.
-

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How much maintenance does a commercial multi-sport court require?
A: Virtually none. Unlike asphalt (which requires crack filling and repainting every 3-5 years) or clay (daily watering/rolling), our modular courts just need an occasional leaf blowing or power wash. This saves your maintenance staff hundreds of hours annually.
Q: Can you resurface our existing cracked tennis courts?
A: Yes. This is our most popular commercial project. We can often install our modular surface directly over cracked asphalt (bridging the imperfections) or perform a "Post-Tension Overlay" to permanently stabilize the foundation before surfacing. This is significantly cheaper than total demolition.
Q: Are your courts ADA compliant?
A: Yes. We can design ramps and transitions to ensure your facility is fully accessible and compliant with ADA standards.
Q: How does the warranty work for commercial projects?
A: We stand behind our work with industry-leading warranties. Our modular surfaces typically carry a 15-year limited warranty, and our post-tension concrete foundations are built to last a lifetime.
