Commercial Futsal & Soccer Court Construction
Elite Training Surfaces for Schools, Parks, and Sports Complexes
Commercial Futsal Facility Construction
Bring the world’s fastest-growing development sport to your facility. Futsal is no longer just a niche game; it is the recognized “secret weapon” for soccer development globally. However, maintaining natural grass fields for technical training is expensive, weather-dependent, and often impossible during the freeze-thaw cycles of the Rockies and High Plains.
Court Builders of the Rockies offers a permanent solution. As the region’s ASBA Builder Member, we design high-performance Commercial Futsal Courts that provide a perfect, consistent roll 365 days a year. We help you build facilities that maximize playing hours, reduce maintenance costs, and attract serious athletes.
Built for High-Traffic Public Use
Mud is the enemy of revenue. For commercial sports complexes and municipal parks, grass fields mean canceled games and high upkeep. A hard-surface Futsal court changes the equation:
-
-
365-Day Usability: Our self-draining modular surfaces are ready for play minutes after a rainstorm or snowmelt. No mud, no divots, no downtime.
-
High-Traffic Durability: Unlike turf, which wears down in high-traffic goal zones, our Commercial Futsal Courts are engineered to withstand thousands of hours of intense play without showing wear.
-
Versatility: A Futsal court isn’t just for soccer. The smooth, flat surface is perfect for general physical education, agility training, and can easily double as a basketball or volleyball court with multi-sport striping.
-

Engineered for Safety & Performance
Professional-grade surfaces that protect your athletes. Futsal is a fast, high-impact game. Playing on raw asphalt or concrete increases the risk of injury. We utilize a two-part construction system to prioritize safety:
1. The Foundation: Post-Tension Concrete
Commercial courts require a base that won’t crack under pressure. We specialize in Post-Tension Concrete, a structural slab reinforced with tensioned steel cables. This resists the heaving and settling common in Colorado, Wyoming, and the Midwest, ensuring a perfectly flat ball roll for decades.
2. The Surface: Modular Sports Tiles
We install high-performance suspended tiles designed specifically for athlete biomechanics:
-
-
Lateral Forgiveness™: The surface allows for slight side-to-side movement, absorbing the horizontal force of sudden cuts and pivots. This significantly reduces the risk of ankle rolls and knee injuries compared to standard hardscapes.
-
Shock Absorption: Vertical cushioning protects joints from impact, allowing athletes to train longer with less fatigue.
-
Skin-Friendly Texture: Unlike abrasive asphalt, our tiles are designed to minimize “road rash” during sliding tackles.
-
Solutions for Every Organization
We provide turnkey design-build services for a wide range of clients:
-
-
Soccer Clubs & Academies: Create a dedicated “technical zone” for footwork drills that saves your grass fields for match day.
-
Schools & Universities: Convert underutilized paved areas into vibrant, safe Indoor Soccer Flooring or outdoor recreational spaces.
-
Parks & Recreation: Install vandal-resistant, low-maintenance public courts that serve the growing soccer community.
-
Urban Redevelopment: Futsal courts fit into compact urban footprints (rooftops, old tennis courts) where full-sized fields cannot.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can we install Futsal lines on our existing basketball courts?
A: Yes. This is a cost-effective way to increase facility utility. We can overlay contrasting Futsal game lines onto your existing basketball or tennis courts, creating a Multi-Sport System that doubles your programming options.
Q: Is this surface suitable for indoor facilities?
A: Absolutely. We offer specialized Indoor Soccer Flooring (modular or synthetic wood-look) that mimics the speed of a professional Futsal arena. It is cleaner than turf (no rubber infill mess) and easier to maintain.
Q: How big is a commercial Futsal court?
A: While an official international court is roughly 40m x 20m, most commercial training courts are scaled to fit the available space. A standard basketball footprint (approx. 84’ x 50’) works perfectly for 5v5 Futsal matches.
Q: What is the maintenance cost?
A: Negligible. Outdoor courts require occasional leaf blowing. Indoor courts need a simple dust mop. There is no watering, mowing, fertilizing, or infill replenishment required.
