Residential Futsal & Soccer Courts
Bring the World’s Game Home with the Region’s Premier Builder
The Ultimate Training Ground: Backyard Futsal Courts
There is a reason the world’s best players—from Brazil to Spain—grew up playing Futsal. The smaller playing area, faster surface, and heavier ball force players to develop sharper reflexes, tighter ball control, and quicker decision-making.
At Court Builders of the Rockies, we bring this elite development tool to your home. As a member of ASBA (America Sports Builders Association), Court Builders of America Certified Court Builder, and Racquet Sports Industry Association 2025 Tennis Court Builder / Contractor of the Year, Court Builders of the Rockies stands alone in experience and expertise. We design professional-grade Futsal courts engineered to withstand the harsh freeze-thaw cycles of the Rocky Mountain Region, and the Midwest.
Why Build a Futsal Court Instead of Turf?
While grass fields are great for matches, they are often muddy, uneven, or buried under snow. A backyard Futsal court gives your family a 365-day technical training facility.
-
- Skill Acceleration: The flat, consistent surface ensures a “true roll,” allowing players to master complex dribbling moves impossible on bumpy grass.
- Speed of Play: The ball moves faster on our specialized modular tiles, training young athletes to think and react quicker.
- No Mud, No Mess: Our self-draining system means your kids can train minutes after a rainstorm without tracking mud into the house.
- Multi-Use Value: Unlike artificial turf which limits you to field sports, a hard-surface Futsal court can double as a Basketball, Pickleball, or Volleyball court.

Engineered for Speed and Safety
Futsal is a high-intensity game. Playing on raw concrete is dangerous for knees and ankles. We install high-performance suspended modular surfacing designed specifically for athlete biomechanics:
-
-
- Lateral Forgiveness™: Our tiles have a slight side-to-side “give.” This absorbs the lateral forces from sudden cuts and pivots, significantly reducing the risk of ankle rolls.
- Vertical Shock Absorption: The suspended design acts as a shock absorber, protecting young joints from the impact of running on hard surfaces.
- Non-Abrasive Texture: Unlike asphalt, which acts like sandpaper during a fall, our tiles are designed to be skin-friendly, minimizing “road rash” from sliding tackles.
-
Custom Sizing for Any Backyard
You don’t need a stadium-sized lot to build a great training ground. While an official FIFA international Futsal court is roughly 40m x 20m, we specialize in Residential Training Courts scaled to fit properties across the Rockies and Plains.
-
- The “Skill Court”: A compact 30’ x 50’ space is perfect for 3v3 games and intensive technical drills.
- The Multi-Sport Hybrid: We frequently overlay Futsal markings on standard basketball courts. With one investment, you get a basketball court for hoops and a Futsal pitch for soccer training, maximizing your backyard’s utility.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can I combine Futsal with other sports?
A: Absolutely. This is our most popular design. We create “Multi-Game Courts” with different colored lines for Futsal, Basketball, and Pickleball. The Futsal goals are typically mobile, allowing you to clear the court instantly for other activities.
Q: Does the ball bounce too much on a hard court?
A: Futsal is played with a special “low-bounce” ball (size 3 or 4). When used on our modular tiles, the game physics are perfect—fast rolling but controlled bouncing—replicating the professional indoor arena experience outdoors.
Q: Is a permit required for a backyard court?
A: Rules vary by city (e.g., Denver vs. Wichita vs. rural Wyoming). As Class A General Engineering Contractors, we handle the excavation, grading, and permitting process to ensure your court is built on a structural foundation that won’t heave or crack.
